B&B Description
The origins of medieval Appingedam is strategically located between the city of Groningen and the Baltic region. The "Warehouse Les Beaux Arts is one of then so important waterways, the Damsterdiep located. From 1650 until the beginning of last century was Damsterdiep a channel that several stores were located. Cargo carried in and out. Over the years, the cargo volume increasing with the opposite effect that the stores were too small and therefore uneconomic. The rustic warehouses were converted into houses. It was then that the room for the kitchen to the outside of the buildings were placed.
