B&B Description
Our tropical decorated guesthouse is located in a typical Amsterdam canal house built in 1777 on the former coastline of Amsterdam. The house has still her original facade with gable stone of an island with 3 palm trees. We welcomed our first guests in August of 1999.
We give each guest a warm welcome, a uniquely decorated room and of course our world famous breakfasts!
The Area is called 'the Golden Reaal' and our quiet street Droogbak connects 2 major canals, the Singel and the Prinsengracht. Parallel with the Droogbak is the longest shopping street of the Netherlands. A section of this street is named Haarlemmerstraat/dijk, a former sea dike, but now you find good restaurants, specialty- and local shops, coffeeshops, cafe's, gallaries, hair saloons, laundromats, a famous art-deco cinema and a lot more. The Brouwersgracht one of the most beautiful canals connecting the four main canals is just one street behind.

| Directions: |
Take any tram, metro, bus or train going to Central Station.
From the Central Station it is only a 3-4 minute walk to Barangây.
Coming out from the Central Station (main entrance facing the tram stops), you turn right direction Ibis Hotel. After passing the Ibis and the bike parking, turn left and cross the modern (steel) foot/bike bridge (beware of the bikes !!) and take the stairs up front.
In front of you, (keep the train tracks at your right hand side) you'll see a little square and a huge free standing red-brick building with white stripes, and a red door in the middle. this is on droogbak.
